@Anna You're welcome! I'm sorry it's been so rough and you've been in tears. :( I hope your son has gotten back on schedule by now. I know it's harder for some babies than others. As a preemie, you will have to adjust some expectations. Good luck!

I had no idea until we put our lil' 7 month old down for the night. It was then that i realized we were "falling back" an hour and should expect an interesting morning.
well, it's been 6 days and we are still struggling. naps are all over the place because of early wake ups, and trying to get him back into a 7am to 7pm schedule has been so trying, i've been in tears a few times this week.
We only started sleep training at 6-months because he was an underweight premie and everyone kept telling us that he was the exception and we shouldn't push him into a schedule.
Generally, the schedule is great - 7am to 7pm with 2-3 naps/day. The next challenge will be to have him go down unaided because now we rock him to sleep for every nap and bedtime...
Your website has been offering lots of great tips. Thanks!!!

I did 15-minute increments over 8 days and it seems to have worked. Jane's up earlier than before, but not 4:30am like last fall! The only thing that's hard is she seems very cranky before nap and bedtimes. I hope it passes soon, but it probably won't since she's two!

Ugh - it is going AWFUL for us! It's almost enough to make me move to Arizona so I don't ever have to deal with this again. At least if "they" are going to make us suffer through this, they should pass a law that the time change can't happen within at least 5 days of Halloween!
Both my kids were up late on Halloween of course. My 13.5 month old son is the most stubborn early waker, and is now waking up at 4am, due to the time change and overtiredness. My 4 year old daughter has been an absolute pill the last few days, and has been waking up earlier because she can see a tiny bit of light creeping in through her blackout blinds, while for the past few weeks she's finally been sleeping later because it had been darker in the morning.
I suppose I'll finally get them caught up again around March or so, just in time for another upheaval...
