It is a topic that nobody ever wants to talk about. Society seems to perpetuate the myth that mothers can parent a baby all by themselves without any help...which I think prevents many women from seeking help when they need it, as they can be made to feel like a failure as a mother if they can't do it all alone, perfectly every time.
